Then on Sunday take a leisurely stroll around the Katikati Bird Gardens for their Easter Bunny Hunt!

Katikati Folk Club
Sanders Alley Khan, Friday April 13th.  A folk, roots and world music band formed in 2010, Sanders Alley Khan play beautifully mad acoustic music.  Blending a fine array of musical styles and instruments with superb three-way vocal harmonies, they perform both original material and tunes and songs paying homage to their wide variety of influences.  As a trio they blend Jon Sanders’ vast Celtic and jazz influence with Dave Alley's bluesy roots and Dave Khan's American folk and blues, all delivered with great energy, sublime musicianship and a few laughs.  Sanders Alley Khan were the highlight of the 2011 Auckland Festival, their energy, enthusiasm and musicianship bringing the audience to its feet.  They play one concert in Katikati. Don't miss it!  As usual it’s at the Katikati Bowling Club with doors opening at 7.30pm.

Blokes in Sheds Ramble
Tickets are starting to sell (very exciting!!) at the Information Centre for this wonderful fundraiser for the Katikati Skateboarding Club.  Only $10 per person so a very reasonable price considering you can visit 13 blokes in their sheds.  It’s on the 21st April from 9am – 4pm.  Pop onto our website for details of who is participating.  Blokes in Sheds Ramble
