Katikati Midwives consists of 5 midwives providing maternity services to the women of Waihi, Waihi Beach, Katikati and Omokoroa.
We work from a friendly, homely and welcoming centrally located clinic. We provide care, resources and information to pregnant women to enable them to learn about choices and healthy options for the childbearing time.
We care for women choosing to birth at home, Waihi Maternity Unit or Tauranga Hospital. We provide full pregnancy Lead Maternity Care (LMC) focusing on keeping birth as natural as possible and continue to provide care if complications arise. We provide postnatal home visiting and good breastfeeding support. |
